0 mud Posted April 4, 2012 Yeh.. but I dont wanna believe it! and i've never seen a m.geo as round as that one in the middle (again, it was labeled ) but does the top pic have some kinda trich in the middle?
0 Foo Posted April 4, 2012 Looks like Myrtillocactus geometrizans to me.
0 Evil Genius Posted April 4, 2012 lol. Second one is indeed myrtillocactus geo. as the other myrtillocacti look so differently that it can only be this one. Third one looks pretty much like a typical Polaskia Chichipe for me as well. They are pretty variable sometimes. Dont think that the one in the first pic is a Trichocereus but i dont know the name. Could be one of the clumping Echinopsis or small cereoid species that are around. But i would like to hear more info on this as well as i think i grow one myself. 0 Sir Jeans Posted April 4, 2012 I agree that the second looks like myrt geo. I have three of them, and they all look very different. I think its a fairly variable (but also awesome) species.
0 silvesterdrinkthebeers Posted April 4, 2012 I think you have atleast 1 notocactus magnificus in the first pic. http://www.tradebit.com/filedetail.php/79817491v6121363-flowering-ball-cactus-notocactus-magnificus
0 solomon Posted April 4, 2012 I think you have what is a clearly labelled "Cactus" in the first pic. but really, looks quite close to a plant I got labelled as T. huascha. But my plant is not a clumper.
0 Quixote Posted April 5, 2012 Not to hijack the thread, but: How to spot the difference between Polaskia Chichipe and E. Pach? This is one of the most difficult ID's for me. Is it in the ridges along the ribs? The colour? The spines? Also, I read that young P. Chichipe are white-frosted, and the one in this thread doesn't seem to be..
