Shamanistic Posted January 24, 2012 Hello, I recently obtained a fresh cutting of a T. Pachanoi from a member on this forum. The cut is in the process of forming a callus and after a few days I noticed these black spots. Neither I nor the member I received it from believe it was on the cutting before they gave it to me. The spots are hard so I don't believe it is rot since you'd think rot would be soft. Any ideas? Pictures attached! Thanks, Super.
Marcel Posted January 24, 2012 It's most probably AIDS or cancer... Or else it's black rot: recently discussed in depth, here.

tedzr Posted January 26, 2012 just let the cut callus up and dry before u pot it - the black rot will go away leaving brown marks on the skin. peace
