Black spots on Pachanoi Cutting

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I recently obtained a fresh cutting of a T. Pachanoi from a member on this forum. The cut is in the process of forming a callus and after a few days I noticed these black spots. Neither I nor the member I received it from believe it was on the cutting before they gave it to me. The spots are hard so I don't believe it is rot since you'd think rot would be soft. Any ideas? Pictures attached!

Thanks,

Super.

It's most probably AIDS or cancer...

Or else it's black rot: recently discussed in depth, here.
