t st tantra Posted January 7, 2004 yes that is certainly an extreem reaction and most unusual. syrian rue and caapii contain mao b type alkaloids and are said to be fully reversable, the warnings you quote above are more applicable to mao a ,pharmesutical type drugs. i drink coffee and eat chocolate without much consideration now after rue or caapii. have you considered you may have experienced an od rather than an adverse reaction.i wonder if the hair of the dog at the correct dose may assist. t s t . Northern Gnome Posted January 7, 2004 I'd rather not use it again, there is one other way without using an MAOI, maybe someday.
Auxin Posted January 8, 2004 Salvinorin- I gotta know, before the experience in question had you ever used syrian rue at normal doses? If so did you have any side effects? Just trying to figure out if such reactions to high doses can be predicted from ones reaction to low doses.
t st tantra Posted January 17, 2004 i posted a link that seems relevant to salvinorins experience in ethnobotany the other day. the jist of it was that at doses of around 10gms of rue seeds mao a type effects also appear. t s t .
