id please

Question

been picking these for afew years in auckland but this is the first time i've managed to grow them.

any ideas?they are active

They would more likely be Ps. Makarorae or Ps. Aucklandii. The 'nipple' from my memory, was only on Ps. Makarorae?

I can't check on this PC, so please check. :)

When I have encountered P. aucklandii it has always been nipple-less, this could vary though.

I would say P. subaeruginosa or P. makarorae on this one. A lucky find if it's the latter.

sweet does look like P. makarorae.

originally collected from under pines and natives, 50m from subs.

I think these may be the yet undescribed species found and wonderfully photographed by Inski over at the Shroomery. The only species in the Section Aztecorum found outside the Americas.

Agreed, it does look like the species inski has documented.

yea id love to get my hands on some waeroa's or whatever theyre called...if any1 has some spawn out there....

i did these the same as i do my subs just pot up a plant with some pastureised pine chips through the potting mix and a couple of hand fulls of pine chips at the top with some stem buts and a thin layer of potting mix on top.

their myc seems to spread alot slower than subs, so i try keep these away from my subs and pastureise the chips.

the pic looks alot like Psilocybe semilanceata but there is alot of hype surrounding this. but definetly a nice looking psilocybe. great find.
