0 CβL Posted July 18, 2011 They would more likely be Ps. Makarorae or Ps. Aucklandii. The 'nipple' from my memory, was only on Ps. Makarorae? I can't check on this PC, so please check.
0 solomon Posted July 18, 2011 IMO definitely not P. semilanceata They would more likely be Ps. Makarorae or Ps. Aucklandii. The 'nipple' from my memory, was only on Ps. Makarorae? I can't check on this PC, so please check. When I have encountered P. aucklandii it has always been nipple-less, this could vary though. I would say P. subaeruginosa or P. makarorae on this one. A lucky find if it's the latter.
0 2meke Posted July 20, 2011 sweet does look like P. makarorae. originally collected from under pines and natives, 50m from subs. thanks!
0 Shroomeup Posted July 20, 2011 I think these may be the yet undescribed species found and wonderfully photographed by Inski over at the Shroomery. The only species in the Section Aztecorum found outside the Americas. Checkout the pics at the bottom of this page in the link. http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/14364766#14364766
0 tripsis Posted July 20, 2011 Agreed, it does look like the species inski has documented. How did you cultivate them 2meke?

0 2meke Posted August 6, 2011 yea id love to get my hands on some waeroa's or whatever theyre called...if any1 has some spawn out there.... i did these the same as i do my subs just pot up a plant with some pastureised pine chips through the potting mix and a couple of hand fulls of pine chips at the top with some stem buts and a thin layer of potting mix on top. their myc seems to spread alot slower than subs, so i try keep these away from my subs and pastureise the chips.
