Trichs??

Question

So while checking out some potential rentals we stumbled

on a few completely dehydrated, sunburned cuttings of cactus

that had been left from the previous renters

And just when I was putting it out there for cuttings!

Gotta love gifts from the universe

Can anybody ID these pics, I'm almost positive they're trich's but

I could be dead wrong!

Any pointers on genus/species greatly appreciated

Cheers,

Ah, you must've found the cuttings I couldn't get back from that rental after the landlord chased me away with a broadsword (don't ask). :)

great stuff,

thanks for the ID's crew!

You can't see it in the pics but since they where laying on their

sides on the ground, all three cuts have put out roots all up one side.

I reckon I should just plant the whole length of each cutting in something

like a polystyrene box with cactus mix....

or would it be better to chop them up into manageable pieces maybe 10-15cm long,

let them heal up and plant them on their sides?
