medicinal and food native plants of the nw of australia???

am trying hard to find info about medicinal and food plants of the pilbara region of west aus,have spent a lot of time out aound exmouth living off all sorts of seafood(could never afford to eat like that in perth with the price some of this seafood is!!) as well as roo,would love info on edible and medicinal plants of the area as i have the meat side of things sorted and would like to at least know of such things in emergency ,am well versed in water collection methods in desert environs and aware of info on bush foods in the south west aus,just hard to find anything online bout the nw region,any ideas or links anyone???
