Question

Picked these up at mitre ten, from paradisia nurseries. I think they are little scops, what you think?

Just a wee bit of nerdiness. According to the new cactus lexicon this species is now synonymous with Echinopsis lageniformis. This is most likely dodgy taxonomy, but I thought it might be of interest.

Note: Said by Ritter to be close to Trichocereus bridgesii (= E. lageniformis) and T. crassicstatus Ritt, as indeed his pictures suggest, and to be an excellent grafting stock. Disjunct from E. lageniformis but perhaps introduced.

I always thought scop was closer to pach, there you go. Just confusing all the new designations. I'm sticking with the golden oldies
