Planetary alignment at the moment :D

Recommended Posts

Good morning everyone who is still awake :)

Thought you would like to know that there is a planetary alignment going on at the moment

Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter

half an hour before sunrise in the east, for the next couple of days

I've only just found out and am packing my bag full of rugs and jumpers to go smoke up and admire the view from the obelisk in Newcastle in a couple of hours

NSNA info page

The video is all sorts of gold

Happy planetary viewing :D

Ah damn I missed it! I read about that last night and I'm always driving around 6:30 so I would've seen it had I remembered.

WOW is all I can say, the planets are MASSIVE compared to normal

you certainly can't miss them, and I'm sure if you are driving around for the next few days you will see them FancyPants :)

I have a pair of crappy old binoculars but wish I had a telescope!!

Anyone in Newcastle have a telescope I can borrow?

no reason it wouldn't be, unless WA is having a big dust storm.
