Random Salvia?

Hi, anybody know what type of Salvia this is? Nothing exciting, just a very pretty old plant that is flowering at the moment.

It looks very similar to a plant that i have in my garden, maybe a Mexican Sage Bush, Salvia leucantha . I have read that they can be used as an insect repellent. If it is the same, it is a pretty and very hardy plant.

I have one in the front yard that shoots up every spring, ill try find the tag but i think the chooks may have buried it
