amelia

sorry guys, should have taken a photo or learned some botanical terms. i'm trying to find info about "amelia" on the internet which is impossible (because amelia is also a name of people). it has little pink flowers which produce a million floating seeds each. it can grow a couple of feet in a few weeks, each set of leaves looks different to the last, it's the scourge of many gardens.

even another common name might help my search.

(i'm quite fascinated by this amazing weed, it makes me think of some land-based space-port of the future)

i am stuck with a useless common name

its flowers are like thick-head if that helps, only pink and they don't droop. it grows in the same places you'd find thick-head except moreso and it's daintier than thick-head.
