apothecary Posted May 19, 2005 Tomer, I'm meeting with smogs tonight, I think he broke his windows, which would explain why he hasn't replied. In any case, I'll ask him how he's going and reply with updates if he can't. Mine are still in their bags, I'll probably open them for drying tomorrow morning. Torsten Posted May 20, 2005 I've just fermented 20 different species of aizoaceae and all of them turned out not too stinky at all. Most just smell like freshly moistened hay (no mould smell). In fact, I was considering drinking the juice to see if this might have most of the goodies in it.
amanito Posted May 21, 2005 * can someone answer my question ? :D i'm maybe gonna buy that specie to, first have to know it's the same
Tomer Corymbosa Posted May 21, 2005 guys is the fermenting process is active to all plants??? is it good to cannabis? i just didnt realize what plnats can i ferment...
apothecary Posted May 21, 2005 THC and other cannabinoids are not water soluble, so fermenting them won't do anything. Tomer, a good guide is to see how people have done it over the last hundreds of years. If nobody fermented cannabis, then you probably don't need to either I should say on that note though, that in southern Lebanon people have been making "blonde hash" for many centuries (my guess is probably so they have something to smoke/sell/trade over winter). psycho0 Posted June 19, 2005 i tried some of this a few days ago(thanx smogs:D) i used about a tsp worth in a tea(just added boilinbg water) then 10mins later another cup of the same amount. i felt a definite stimmulation, not too strong but it was there~! i had hurt my back so im not sure iof this was the codeine or kanna or both but whle getting little waves of stimulation i also felt a little sedation! a general sense of well being as well:) aaron
mutant Posted April 28, 2008 Any other bioessays? [sorry to bring back a thread from the grave, but I spotted Aptenia activity these days and I have been growing it for some time... and since my sceletium seeds didn't sprout.... ]
Yeti101 Posted April 29, 2008 I was just thinking about this too 'cause the place I've just moved into has a garden bed full of the stuff. Anyway, I've got some fermenting (root, stems and leaves) and I'm drying some root material as well. I'm also fermenting a mix of Aptenia cordifolia, D. cooperi and sceletium offcuts. I'll report back asap.
apothecary Posted April 30, 2008 Hehe I must have completely forgotten about this thread. The short of it is, if you want Kanna, use Sceletium. Aptenia is a poor alternative.
planthelper Posted April 30, 2008 and i thought, you might say, it's still drying out, lol. gee, i like it if aarons posts pop up again.
