Mimosa Pudica Uses - Enth

Recommended Posts

Does anyone know of uses for Mimosa pudica? I have been searching but it does not seem to contain any properties of the closely related hostilis or tenuiflora, does anyone have confirmation on this?

Apart from mimosine perhaps being using for antiproliferative and apoptotics.

Any enth uses?

I belive Trouts notes states 5-meo-dmt was reportedly found in the seed of 2yr old specimens. personal bio essays on seed (around 2gm smoked) from a plant at least 3yr old produced a very mild perceptual change accompanied with the urge to vomit :puke:

i think ive also read somwere the petiols contain epinephrine and its used as a sexual stimulant in india?

Ott mentions M.pudica as being one of the Jurema's so it is entirely possible that one of the varieties of this species has properties similar to M.tenuiflora. Alkaloid profile studies of the different varieties are however wanting.

Australia has at least three varieties of the species that are naturalised.
