Please ID this cutting

Question

Hey all,

so I went for a walk the other day and came across a large tree-like cactus in some guy's front yard. He was raking leaves out front so I started talking to him, about how I admired his cactus etc and I asked if i could get a cutting and he obliged.

I was hoping to get it IDed by some of you knowledgeable guys.

:BANGHEAD2: technical difficulties pics to come soon

Any ideas?

Its cereus for sure

If you get a chance to go back past there in the next few weeks see if thet have any fruits on them that should confirm if its Cereus peruvianus (peruvian apple)
