Undergrounder Posted March 22, 2009 Hi Mike very cool pics, what a great mushroom! The blueing on those is insane Due to the bruising i I think they have to be Hygrocybe conica or possibly H. astatogala! Great find... Not sure if they're poisonous but certainly not active and probably cause stomach upsets.
TheDudeAbides Posted March 22, 2009 yea the spore print came up this morning and it was a white print ? dose that relate to the spores of Hygrocybe conica or possibly H. astatogala
TheDudeAbides Posted March 22, 2009 It seems similar to the Hygrocybe conica thought the caps arrent at pointy. i also looked at other photos of the Hygrocybe conica and they had some blacked capped ones aswell which i found aswell. other then that the oens i found the stem was white but yellow up near the cap. the Hygrocybe conica usually have all yellow stemming
genki Posted March 22, 2009 white print is a match for Hygrocybe sp. stems on H. conica can vary in colour from yellowish to orange/red. the black bruising is also an indication of a Hygrocybe. i agree with underground
