apothecary Posted March 10, 2009 (edited) Wondering if anyone could come up with some rough numbers on how much it would cost to replant 100Ha of cleared bush to return it to native forest? How many trees are we talking? How long would it take to do the replanting? What would be survival rates of replanted trees/plants assuming decent rainfall and good soil fertility area? As for the cost ov trees, we used to get alot ov them free from local nurseries who were happy to support the cause. No harm in you approaching a few. Not sure they will have the expertise I need, but maybe. Will keep it in mind when I see some of them on Sat.
