Shroom-Aura Posted January 2, 2004 keep seeds out of light, air and heat .. e.g keep seeds in a jbag, in a black film case in the freezer or fridge.
Torsten Posted January 3, 2004 almost all seeds will benefit from fridge storage, but make sure that they do not get too cold. Some fridges cna freeze at the back and this will kill many seeds. The dairy case (or anywhere in the door) is the safest place. Keep thoroughly dried seeds airtight as the temp fluctuations will cause condensation and may cause them to rot. Tropical seeds will benefit as the cool space slows evaporation of the endosperm. Some seeds from plants that do not tolerate temps of 5 degC may not like the fridge.... maybe iboga, yohimbe, etc, but I might be wrong.
