    native datura& other solani

ahhh interesting , remeber being told by one of the guys at sydney wildflower nursery, that one of the inland species was used as a contraceptive by aborigines. prehaps that is the same one u mentioned? have tried 2 grow one of the commercialy avalaible native tomatos a few years back, but the humidity eventually killed it. appart from S.aviculare, as a food source havent heard of any traditional uses with my local ones, though think it would be likley they had some sort of traditional use.

    amazing sea sponge

interesting, although i cant convince myself thats true. spent several years working in an aquarium shop, & learnt that they are extremeley delacate, at least in an artifical system. after simply exposing them 2 air , they usually die verry slowly, at least in an aquarium, however if they are in the ocean, they are more likley 2 recover. im really keen 2 see what happens with your experment thelema!!

    seed storage

hey guys, was wondering if there is any sort of general rule's when it comes 2 seed storage, to maintain viability. is there any seed that shouldn't be stored in the refrigerator? plants from hot climates perhaps? any info would be appreciated, dirt.
  10. what about Tradescantia albiflora. if salvia was to become a weed in australia i imagine it would be disspersed in the same way, as trad is. besides humans anmials trad is mostly dispersed via gravity and water. its not uncommon for a speices to sit for many years and be non invasive and then all of a sudden become a major problem. caution always needs to be exerted when planting possible invasive plants near bushland. think about the plant how it reproduces, if it sets seed think about how seed is dispersed, wind, birds ect before buying or planting. happy gardening dirt.

    Grafting Hoodia

i know of someone who has had good success using large ceropegia woodii tubers, they are easy to obtain as this is a common houseplant. it is also known as chain of hearts and belongs to the Asclepiadaceae family. same as hoodia, therefore im pretty sure blue myrtle and san pedro wouldnt work as they are cacteaceae plants. happy grafting anyway, dirt.
