0 tonic Posted February 3, 2008 (edited) Looks more like a Mammillaria bombycina to me, the soft radial spines that are light coloured and the darker brownish hooked central spine makes me think that is the species I mentioned. It could be a similiar species. Though fairly certain it's a Mammillaria bombycina. It will be easier to ID in a year or two.
