I havent PM'd out the location details yet because I want to have a drive down there tomorrow and make a final decsision as to the best place to set up camp. No this isnt planned as an overnighter but you never know, it all depends on how long it takes before everyone wants to go home, however because it wont be at a camp site youll probabaly be sleeping on the sand or in your car. Im not sure what the interstaters and everyone else are planing on doing, perhaps you guys can organamize a caravan park or something close by to pitch up at? I can have a look/ask around if you like? A quick question, does anyone have a portable BBQ thats of a decent capacity, I have one of those $20 single burner thingos but thats pretty useless for a big ass BBQ and if we didnt have to be tied to a site with a council BBQ then we would have much better options. There are camp grounds reasonably close by (within 10-15mins drive) but my idea was kind along the lines of fishing and BBQ'ing in the same location, so we can spend the day there without moving around to much Ill have another looka round... Its taking longer than expected to organise because it was kind of planed to be as simple as possible but now its got a little complicated, like trying to find camping grounds close by that has fishing access yaddah, yaddah, yaddah. plus Im not so keen to send out that info on the PM system. Ill send them out now. Ill make the meeting location at one place, and camping and all that stuff will have to be organised by your selfs, otherwise itll take me another day to make up my mind. I was asleep in the lounge last night and such an intense storm came through that the lightning (must a hit real close) turned on the computer, seriously fucked with the stereo and made the tv flash super white while it was turned off SCARY Appreciate your work Andy!! Unfortunatly I dont have a shelter yet and I cant afford to buy one at the moment, so it will just have to be what it will be ;) Perhaps I can get a tarp going and some ropes, so we can at least have a make shift if it is needed.
