Crested thingy-ma-bob... ID please?

Question

Well, the acquisition of a new crested Pach has got me keeping an eye out for all things crested, so I grabbed this today... anyone know what it is? Thanks.

Yes I was thinking that it looked like a Euphorbia, but I had never seen a crested one, only monstrose.

Bit, yes it was me on TM... I felt crap about paying so much, but the last two went for ~$60 so I can comfort myself with that. I am going to use my old one which is a bit smaller to attempt some grafting for propagation.

Hey IllegalBrain

I'm interested in what you were planning to use as a stock plant for your grafting

If it's a Euphorbia you should graft the scion onto a Euphorbia stock. Euphorbia sp. are succulents, not cacti.

Nice score by the way.

Sorry, I must of misunderstood mate.

So did I

That was my main reason for asking, because I was interested in what you would use to graft the Euphorbia crest.
