0 shruman Posted September 2, 2007 (edited) Just a wild guess but Opuntia cylindrica or maybe austrocylindrica. Do they have spines or glochids? Yours is probably something different but related its for sure some sort of Cylindropuntia/Australicylindropuntia species. cylindrica at UC Berkeley subulata at the LA Arboretum These two frequently get mislabelled as each other. Flowers and fruit can easily tell them apart. The subulata is commonly available in horticulture as a nicely crested version.
