Delosperma bosseranum cultivation

Recommended Posts

I have a few seed grown plants. They are about 3 months old and a few inches tall. They are flowering right now also. Is it normal for them to flower this small/young?

They are still kinda small, but they are growing pretty fast. Much faster than the available information implies. Ive seen the threads here, and most are pretty old. So any new information that anyone has would be great.

Also, any new info relating to fermenting (or not fermenting), dosage, drying, collecting, ..., would be appreciated.

Thanks,

himdumb

Yup, its normal for them to seed early, normal to grow fast too.

Treat them like a cactus and they'll grow slow, treat them more like a normal plant and they grow fast. I sprinkled some seed in pots of hot peppers 4 months ago and they are already fairly big and covered in developing seed pods :)

Dunno about preparation, never bothered to try it yet.

Mine seem to have lost all their foliage. For the first time in 3-4 years.

Are they just dead? Has anyone had this happen?

yes, that happens if they have been kept in the same pot without giving any fert for an extanded periode, aswell it happen often over the winter periode. i have observed that well pampered plants kept growing, over the cold periode whilst unhappy ones did shut down. the same i observed with sceletium.

your plants probably will get some new shoots, once it warms up again, but they are on ther way out.

take new cuttings, or raise some new seedlings. delosperma selfseeds everywhere anyway, so it's a plant thats very hard to get rid off, haha.

devance,

t st tantra reported effects from delosperma...

yeah, for preparation, dry the root, grind it to a fine powder and smoke it.

Otherwise, do an extract after powdering, and smoke THAT shit!

Doesn't seem to contain any Oxalic acid, not the stuff I've tried anyway.
