Can someone please give me some information on this weird looking mushroom

A Macrolepiota, probably M. rachodes. personally id eat any macrolepiota but some people wont due to some toxins in the smaller statured lepiota. a nasty look alike is chlorophyllum molybdites but i dont know if its over your way and it grows on grass anyhow..
