I've heard of MSSmith commenting about the TBM phallis shaped growths coming of crests - perhaps it is a bizarre mutation - only crests can throw both crest and monstrose growth and TBMs are destined to clump with little peckers? M S Smith Posted April 25, 2007 Yeah, it's rather weird that you can find the "penis plant" TBM coming off crests, but I have yet to see a crest come off a TBM; though I have seen this monstrose to crest on other plants. Here's a "penis" coming off a crest.
