reshroomED Posted January 5, 2007 (edited) My T. pachanoi is covered in buds this year, with more appearing every few days. Fast approaching (edited due to competition - see here) buds on three limbs. Funnily enough, the spach's right next to it that usually flower prolifically, have only a few dozen buds this year so far. Gonna be awesome when they open, I'll make sure to post some more pics then. Only concern is that the limbs will break from flower-weight, but a prune was in order anyway. I hate having to cut down large cactii, as they look like shit for a year or two afterwards. teo - I'll keep a swag of these for you and send them asap (with last-years specimens that I haven't sent you ). ed Edited January 5, 2007 by reshroomED

Hellonasty Posted January 8, 2007 I love predro's once they are in even quasi good growing conditions they seriously take off. It's hard to keep up. These look great ! thanks
reshroomED Posted January 10, 2007 A few more pics before she flowers, which is looking like tonight/tomorrow morning. did you fertilize them with anything different this year? No extra food etc this year. Only difference would be less water, due to drought. Once I put a cactus into the ground I do nothing to it, ie no water and no fertilizer. I've often wondered what a good feed would do to Eileen, but don't like 'fixing' things that aren't broke. ed

zee_werp Posted January 11, 2007 Niiiice one bruvva. I've got some of that shit goin' down in my hood too. They are like fireworks going off. Well thats what they look like if you make a timelapse of them from bud formation to opening to closing...been trying it out a little this season. Might stick it on YouTube once I've got it all done. Even though it's only poormans (no tripods or timers here folks!) timelaps so we'll see. But yeah its looking great there man.
