Id anyone?

Question

Hi Guys,

today i found a shitload of these. They were growing on grass and straw in large numbers. They are hygrophaneous. Or was the englisch word hygrophan? Well, screw it; you know what i mean. I made sporeprints but they aren´t ready yet. It looks like they will be black or purple. They are non bluing and more fragile than liberty caps. They look like Psylocybes or something close to that. Any Ideas?

bye EG

Hi Bluemanie,

yeah i havn't taken a print yet.

i'm pretty confident i'll find more next time it rains, we'll see.

what are some spore characteristics to look for if they are pan subb's?

edit: other than them being black!

Paradox those are P. subbalteatus no question.

If one doesn't manage to take a sporeprint one should still keep a dried specimen as a cultures can be started from gill fragments(relatively easy) or dry tissue(harder).
