Little Brown Mushies

Recommended Posts

Some shrooms growing out of the ground, I have no idea what they are, but I'm sure they aren't subs, possibly Gyms?

Spore-print is a light-brown colour, no blueing whatsoever, nice Rhizomorphic Myc.

BM, pic of the gills for you - the print is light brown/grey coloured.

Went on another hunt around the yard today and found 2 specimens of this large-capped white mushroom growing from along where my septic runoff goes (one was trampled to bits by my dogs) - I'm thinking Agaricus of some type ?

Found another species today.... any ideas?

Habitat was a compost "trench" horse-poo and straw buried about 6" deep under a 2-3" potting-soil layer.

Edit - Best guess is Panaeolus antillarum, anyone care to confirm/dispute?

yeah i'd agree with that. It looks a lot like antillarium, whats the diameter of the cap? 3-4cm?
