I'm also keen on prices mostly just for interest sake. You have some incredibly rare seed there, I didn't think anyone else in Australia had mature dyerianus, lanatus or middleburgensis or are you importing them?

Agree^^^ Caapi stops growing completely when its rootbound or at least mine did. Its been repotted twice and both times it took off within two weeks. Its now in the ground and is growing like crazy.

No bap but I did treat all my cacti with coconut milk last year to induced pupping (btw I believe it does work, nothing spectacular but nearly every plant puped early.) Half the pups aborted on it, it was weird tho when they died I touched them and they fell off leaving a little hole that had already healed? this is the pups that didn't abort and there starting to look normal. Weird!

I just spray them with a hose on jet setting works well for me and tends to get the ones hiding around spines which you can't get with a tooth brush. They come back so eventually I'll have to try the alcohol or pyrethrum but the hose works very well to knock them off. I probably wouldn't spray the button as you might damage it but id use the hose to remove the scale from the stock.

Yeah they are very wavy, they have actually flattened out a bit through winter. @ spacemonk the one I sourced through you didn't make it this one I got as a leaf cutting. I'm actually a not real sure about the other one now. I'm hoping it viridus and not nexus but it's got very thin leaves that are at least as wide as my "cathensis" I got it from gomaois and I know he was selling both.

Hi all I had to bump this topic, I've been using go go juice which apparently has azo and a few other bacteria in it since reading this post. All I can say is WOW! If you don't have go go juice go get some, that shit is amazing and dirt cheap. I've got plants now I've grown through winter that I literally cannot believe. They look like they've been grown under artificial light for 18 hours a day. They are by far the biggest thickest healthiest plants I've ever grown and they were started in winter. Awsome shit :-)

Hi all I have a rivea corymbosa that has set seed thousands of them :-) I cm just wondering when the best time to pick them would be? I was thinking of picking them a little early, maybe a week before they have hardened off to make it easier on myself. Would there be any advantage to this or do you think it would be better to just let them completely ripen on the plant?

Hi all I've got a bunch of heimia that can be harvested I was thinking of putting it my sister oil extractor. I'm not sure what type she's got. I'm just wondering if I would need a specific type to extract the alkaloid or if it's even possible with an oil extractor? Cheers

Hi eg yeah I was thinking that but I'll wait and see, the pupps look rather normal compared to the witches broom I have on another cacti. What do you usually do about witches broom? I've got a pachanoi with it and I've just let it grow about half of the pupps grow out of it and it looks awsome as a little clump. Most ppl say get rid of it right away but I've never seen it spread till now. I'm also hoping it will eventually throw me a crest or some other freakish growth. Any thoughts?

Hi all I'm about to order some essential oils and would like some info or to hear ppl thought or experiences. I'm thinking of getting:- dill, parsley seed, cloves, galangal, lemon and black pepper. I was thinking of mixing the parsley, dill, lemon and black pepper together for relaxation and euphoria and the galangal, clove, lemon and black pepper as a possible hallucinagen so a few questions, can anyone see any problems with these combinations? would I be able to just put it in gell caps and swallow them or would I need a carrier oil? Is there any other oils that would be more suited to what I want. What's everyone's favorite oils?

I would really like to hear from ppl who have tried any of them even if you think he's full of shit. That guy is not completely full of shit that cayenne pepper works it produces adrenaline and you can pre dose for lots of things with it. One of my mates dad was a nutritioust and body builder he used to use it for working out.

Lol I just recently tried some galangal, I'm not sure how your supposed to take it but it's definitely not a tea. It was one of the most overwhelming and intense favours I've ever tasted. It's so intense it clogs all your other senses and all you can focus on is the flavour.

My j3 x super Pedro is doing some funky shit atm. Its only about 25cm high and pupped from the base when the pup reached the size of a ping pong ball it pupped from every areole like 9 pups or something like that.

So I got given a bag of random herbs from a friend of a friend and inside this bag was a small sappy bag with 3 tiny beads inside it. I of course disposed of them immediately. These things where a clear blue colour, less than half the size of a match head. I had an idea of what they could have been but not sure. I'm just wondering has anyone seen anything like this before
