Hmmm. Testing. Can it be done? Edit #1: yes. Edit #2: I kind of feel a bit dirty - like I'm hacking SAB here. I mean - I guess the reason the forum software uses a thumbnail is that it not only saves you load time but saves SAB bandwidth/money. Now if the donations bar was higher...

Back in 200x I thought 5-HTP was the ducks nuts. Sadly, it never really lasted and my mood seemed to oscillate: it felt like whatever goes up must come down; a false messiah. So I stopped bothering. Recently though (as recent as a week ago) I purchased some 'time-release' 5-HTP and call it placebo or coincidence but my anxiety has dissipated and my level of concentration improved - virtually overnight. I'll try and add in some green tea for even better results. My mates still say, post-roll, to me (the HR nerd): "You got any of that R2D2?"

Share your dreams (the sleeping kind, not the "I want a pony" kind)

^ lol. you had sci-fi - i get steam-punk. I was with my buddy and we were beginning an 'advertising campaign' which involved distributing 'material' in the form of something like an ice hockey puck or clay pigeon. these were fired out of an enormous vertical cannon that was situated in the corner of the warehouse. I distinctly remember feeling the floor rumble and heave a little as the boiler built up and released pressure. I even said to my mate we probably should move somewhere safer (a recurring theme in a lot of my dreams is a distrust of man-made structures). My dog was there too - it was good to see him. -
It's crazy how south america has such a range of psychedelics. Hamilton's gonna be all over this like a rash I bet.

hmmm. flat earth seems a bad example for this experiment. I find it hard to believe that the moon is a flat perfectly round disc sailing across the sky... unless of course its just a massive projector. Conspiracy! my intuition tells me that the explanations given to me are completely plausible and even probable. Siding with the masses seems like a safe bet here. and cacti may be green/blue, but how could I be sure that you're green is the same as my green. and do colourblind people feel less comfortable with this concept?

What's the best thing that's ever happened to you
SayN replied to Halcyon Daze's topic in Chill Space
So many good (and bad) stories. I feel like I need to add: High: marrying my amazing wife and having two beautiful daughters. child-birth and the whole process around it is... indescribable; best high ever; and suddenly you feel you have a purpose! High: MDMA experience in 2004 that literally woke me the fuck up and made me realise how important friends and friendship are to me. Low/High: quitting my job after working very closely with someone for 17+ years. no goodbye lunch, no gold watch, no thanks for the memories, and his wife didn't speak to me from the day I announced my resignation. Shattered. I had no real plan, but luck, perseverance and hard(ish) work allowed me to get a business going which not only supported us but gave me an opportunity to lead a visible and integral role in raising our girls. Low: Mum being diagnosed with cancer in 2008. The 'shock' sent her dementia to a new high and I struggled (and failed dismally) to find a way to deal with any of it. High: Mum's funeral 2010. Not a sad affair. Cathartic really. Gave me a chance to deliver a eulogy worthy of her and something, to this day, I'm proud of. If you have the opportunity, do it - you won't get another chance Low: Selling my business to and working with a pack of back-stabbing two-faced arseholes for 4 years High: Leaving that company and taking back all my old customers (the ones I cared about at least) to start a new venture... -

cheeky little fixture at the, recently renovated, Newport Arms hotel in Sydney. it's kind of surprising for the 'beer garden' of an insanely busy pub IMO. I presume it will be ripped out after the first child runs/falls/crawls into it. (shame about the cereus)

Sounds like a good idea, but i'm curious: if you do this, how do you actually know when the HEPA filter passes its use-by-date? -

^ Mate, I work in retail technology and I highly doubt the cashiers care too much about how you pay. They might simply be surprised. And retailers themselves absolutely love cash - for obvious reasons.
