  1. Thanks for your open and honest reporting of your experiments and adventuring. Those who dont know the true power of earth picked shrooms might mock. Those who respect the power, know that what you experienced is as true to you as any other experience. And hey,if you are deluded,it will be worth it if it motivates you to get off the fags, and get your own nature in shape. I hope you succeed and are granted your power. You have strived for a long time down the psychedelic path,I personally think you are close to being an urban shaman. You are charting the territory that most just read about. C.
  2. Hi Hunab, My plants are also hanging in thru the cold. I lost a Caapi one cold winter but my well established one is doing fine,no need to fret about some sad looking leaves. My Viridus needs some mothering even in my hothouse, besides the constant war with the ants, a few new shoots are a bit brown on the ends. I am a tad worried but I am sure they will pull thru. What is the soil mix you use with yours? My Mimosa.......from your seedlings have slowed down a lot,no leaf drop. My Datura had a bunch of seed pods, some were not "spored" and shriveled up but one cracked open whilst on the plant to reveal a lovely bunch of seeds, so just leave it be and it will let you know when it is ready. I will be glad if somebody can shed light on the holes in the Brug. Last night I had an extraordinary journey, something truly magical, and took a look at the energy or "spirit" of my ethno plants. Each gave a distinct individual vision, and Im glad to report that on that level they are all doing wonderful. And yes the Caapi is the mother of them all, I really treasure that plant, its vibe and my relationship with it. Then I had a "visitor"........but that story probably belongs in your telepathy thread. Your garden is going good,it is just as much thru your passion, intentions, and energy as it is your soil mixes and knowledge. Best wishes to you bro. C
  3. Gooday Hunab, I just read this thread, its been a few months since I visited this site. I am glad you had a big mental adventure, and got to that place you have been striving for, for so long. I hope you dont mind me clarifying to the folks here, that I have met Hunab, who is as open and honest in the flesh as he is on this forum. He absolutely idolizes his lovely daughter and she lives in a safe and loving household. He is very educated and experienced in psychedelics. The thing that strikes a chord to me in the trip report is not so much the "telepathy"or dosage stuff, but the emotional stuff. When I have gone right out there, there is always an emotional stage of tears and those life recall memories. Yes it is often intertwined with the emotion over the beauty and wonder of the "unseen world". When they talk of psychedelics being used as a healing agent, it is this opportunity to examine and resolve that deep psychological stuff, and when you are at that point it can be a perfect healing opportunity. The crying is an emotional purge and you should let it out. Spew out all the negative stuff with it and resolve to be a better ,wiser person at the end of the trip. You said that you wrote to your son during your experience, did you send the e-mail? Did it make sense the next day? Was everything OK? I sincerely hope you can now resolve those issues you have in your past. Anyhow, good to see you are still giving this forum some juicy topics. And I am a bit jealous of your having all those lovelies for yourself. Cheers mate, Col.
  4. Gooday Hunab, Put me down for a yep for life out there. I cant wait for them to find microbes on Mars and start to dismantle the credibility of the major brainwashers/religions a step further. I just received my copy from Amazon of Rick Strassmans new book,"Inner Paths to Outer Space: Journeys to Alien Worlds through Psychedelics and Other Spiritual Technologies" For thousands of years, voyagers of inner space--spiritual seekers, shamans, and psychoactive drug users--have returned from their inner imaginal travels reporting encounters with alien intelligences. Inner Paths to Outer Space presents an innovative examination of how we can reach these other dimensions of existence and contact otherworldly beings. Based on their more than 60 combined years of research into the function of the brain, the authors reveal how psychoactive substances such as DMT allow the brain to bypass our five basic senses to unlock a multidimensional realm of existence where otherworldly communication occurs. They contend that our centuries-old search for alien life-forms has been misdirected and that the alien worlds reflected in visionary science fiction actually mirror the inner space world of our minds. The authors show that these “alien” worlds encountered through altered states of human awareness, either through the use of psychedelics or other methods, possess a sense of reality as great as, or greater than, those of the ordinary awareness perceived by our five senses. “Those who regularly navigate the hyperspatial landscape that some have called the ‘tryptamine dimension’ have long suspected that the portals to inner and outer space may be one and the same. This book, a collaboration of the most cutting-edge shaman/neuroscientists working in this field, boldly explores this concept in a stunning tour de force.” (Dennis McKenna, Ph.D., coauthor with Terence McKenna of The Invisible Landscape ) “The profoundest inquiries into the nature of reality and the mystery of consciousness are made possible by the psychedelics and other spiritual technologies explored in this astonishing, groundbreaking, and utterly revolutionary book. Written by the maestros of the field, it is exactly the right book at exactly the right time. I found it gripping, thought-provoking, incredibly informative, and--on top of all that--a hugely enjoyable read.” (Graham Hancock, author of Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind and Fingerprints of the Gods ) Looks like a great read, and has lots of color plates of visionary art. I am sure a lot of forum members have encountered the occasional alien. Cheers mate.
  5. Thanks again for your kind replies all. To answer your questions, Alas Mutant, the pictures of my garden growing are on my previous girlfriends camera.....not available im afraid. And Inyan, the Psychotria are Carthaginensis unfortunately. Not much brewing potential apparently. The shonky operator who sold it to me said it was viridis. Identity was confirmed by the wise souls on this forum. I do have some real ones from SAB mail order coming along nicely in the hothouse. The Carth seeds like crazy and those little buggers just come up everywhere. Isn't it a shame that Viridis don't grow as profusely as its cousin the Carth!
  6. Well! Thanks for your compliments. Hunab, the Madenii are 5yrs old and have not flowered yet.
  7. If its an open invitation I would like to try attend
  8. Cheers.Torsten, I will follow up on those threads.
  9. Thanks Torsten. I am glad to have such a respected member assist in my inquiry. I got the Idea it is a Nervosa or "wild coffee" from a picture in Christian Ratsch's "encyclopedia of psychoactive plants". Like you say pics can be deceptive. This thorough resource does mention "carthaginensis" in the same wild coffee/Psychotria species section as an ayahuasca additive and goes on to say the Columbian Makuna Indians say eating the fruit will induce perceptual alterations that can persist for days, nausea, weakness and fever........don't think I will try to find out the truth in that personally. There is no mention of the Alba species though it does say there are between 1200-1400 species. Are these proven as being usable? Cheers.
  10. Hi guys, I have some doubts over my Psychotria. Now it is fruiting I am wondering if it is a Nervosa. I grew it from fresh seed, and lots of TLC.One seed out of ten sprouting. I dont want to waste my Cappi on a brew if it is not Viridis, as I was lead to believe, from the supplier whom I have no reason to trust. Here are some pics taken over the last months, I would be so thankful if one of this forums experts can help. If it is how long do I wait till the new seeds are ready? Cheers.
  11. Hi all, Just rented a new release DVD and was expecting a run of the mill western,I was quite surprised when I realised the thing was a tripout western. It was not at all anthropoligicaly correct but with the movies you must always expect comprimises eh? I realised where the show was going early on when the Indians had Shipbo design handicrafts and were blowing into thier cactus juice like Ayahuascaros. Turns out the whole plot is based on ethnogens. The end of the movie is a complete 20minute trip out like 2001 space odessey except it is all snakes and Alex Grey style transfigurations. The hero and the baddie actually have thier showdown in the DMT dimensions! Has anybody seen the DVD supplied with the box set from Coil with the russian ANS synthesiser, anyhow some of the visuals seemed to be a rip off of that pulsing mandala. They were supposed to be drinking peyote but it came on alot quicker and lasted shorter,it was actually more like some bloody good Ayahuasca. The other factual inconsistancy was they purged at the end of the visuals.Still not to worry it is a better then average DVD. It is called Renegade and stars Julliette Lewis(natural born killers) and Michael Madson(resevior dogs) I am sure the heads on this forum will enjoy it. Hey peace! dont flame me for my spelling!

    Quarantine.

Thanks for your replies guys, They dont seem to want to hassle me,they just want $42.50 for the process. Then they will send the stuff on to me.They do strongly suggest I read thier enclosed brochure.I think my days of ordering from Deva in England are over. Ok,so from all reports I should be right to fly. Id hate to go thru all that fasting/psyching/brewing/drinking possible purge all for naught!I'll report back the results.I've had thier stock before so I can do a fair comparison. Cheers!

    Quarantine.

Ive just had a mailing of Ayahuasca stuff confiscated by Quarantine. They want to treat my Black Cappi and Purple Jurema with 85 degrees celcius for 8 hrs.Can anybody tell me if this is going to totally ruin the "magic".The supplier was not totally sure but suggested that the alkaloids should be safe up to 140C. It will take me a month to get the goods returned ,can anybody inform me in the meantime?
  14. Thanks again for your enthusiastic advise Strangebrew. Ok I'll sit back and watch the show. The only explaination for the healthy development is total TLC.I pop off the bottom fronds as soon as they wilt and......the odd dump of hydro chemicals does marvels around the whole garden. Waste not want not.
  15. Yeah, back to my origional dilema. I was wondering if cutting the seed spike off might promote the branching. Cause the tree seems to have stalled since flowering,I mean more leaves are wilted and tatty than usual. My little card that come with the plant says slow growing tree .It does also say it has bright orange berries and mine have been green for months so I will wait and see what nature does. Cheers Strangebrew!
  16. Thanks for the advise,I will let it run it,s course. I first admired the tree over Rookwood cemetery where they have a couple of very old specimens. There are a few beauties in that park in the Newcastle CBD. Mine was about 18 inches when i bought it and after 5 yrs nurturing in a sunny spot it is 6ft tall and the seed stem sticks up another 18 inches from that.It is still yet to branch out . And still looks like a big Yucca. It is the sort of plant you need to put in early in you life and if you are lucky, and never move house, you might see it fairly well established one day. In a Central Coast nursury latley I seen some babies for sale for $25 each, I've got a 100 seeds so I'll have a go at propogating them. Thanks again for your replies.
  17. My Dragon tree, which Ive had in the ground for about 5 yrs now is doing great. At the start of Summer it thru up a flower spike, like overnight. The spike is still there with heaps of green seeds attached .Note; this tree has not started to branch out,I thought this could be the start of that process, but now i dont. Cause it looks crap,my compulsion is to prune it off,so I was wondering if a wise soul from this group could tell me what the proper course of action should be with a view to propagating the seed. Thanks.
  18. Yes Gerbil. Those are the sorts of things i've been pondering. Are trance visuals in the mind's eye, like a dream? So,do blind people "see" stuff in dreams?Or is all sight eyeball based. People prefer to trance out in a dark environment so light does effect the visuals. People who have lost their sight would have the visual memory to construct their hallucinations. Wouldn't it be a big treat if a blind from birth person was able to see wonderful mandalas and stuff. We know how hallucinations are generated,by changing brain chemistry and patterns. But what are the mechanics of how we percieve them. And what physical atributes do we need. Is the brain sending this psychedelic information to the eyes which is sending it into the brain as normal. Or is there like a hallucination filter or generator going which can inform the brain without the assistance of a set of retinas? The only blind people i meet are up the club on a Friday night.
  19. Having "heard about" some very lurid closed eye visuals I was curious to know what blind people experience if for instance they smoked some V.good DMT. Do they "see" stuff? I would imagine if they did "see" anything they would be the biggest users of psychedelics just for the oportunity to see anything even if it is "Mckenna's Elves". What do they experience? I have not seen any report/study on this topic. Thanks Guys.
