Can Women and Men just be friends?

this topic really hits home with me, see at uni the majority of people in my classes are female (atleast 92%) and the majorityof them are very attractive (makes studying hard). all of my best friends at uni are girls and i seem to get along with them all fine..but the more i became friendly with some of the girls on a deeper level, like more then everyday chit-chat they'd want moreout of the relationship. so in my experience its the ways in which you relate to the person and communicate with them, the more friendlier you are the more friendlier they are.

Aussie politicians could face drug tests

May 25, 2007 POLITICIANS suspected of drug abuse could be tested like footy players, according to Prime Minister John Howard. Mr Howard said MPs should face compulsory screening if evidence of problems emerged. "If there's a case for it to be introduced, if there was evidence ... I would be in favour of it," Mr Howard said. The federal government stoush with the AFL escalated today as Mr Howard joined critics claiming the league was too soft on players using illegal drugs. "I don't think the attitude being taken by the AFL is as rigorous as it could be and I think they should be tougher," Mr Howard said. The Government wants players to be named and shamed the first time they are caught using illegal substances. AFL boss Andrew Demetriou angrily defended the policy ahead of talks this afternoon with Sports Minister George Brandis and Minister for Ageing Christopher Pyne, who is responsible for illegal drugs policy. The World Anti-Doping Agency has also attacked the AFL over a policy that keeps the names of players who test positive secret until a third offence. Mr Demetriou denied drug users were let off the hook and was confident government funding would not be withdrawn because of the dispute. The AFL intervened and organised rehabilitation as soon as a player tested positive, he said. AFL players faced tests outside competition unlike other sports. "We are not soft on drugs ... of course we find drugs abhorrent," Mr Demetriou said on Southern Cross radio. Mr Howard seemed unaware AFL players were tested in their private lives. "Our policy as you know is something that's been agreed to by the players," Mr Demetriou said. "They've volunteered, they're the only citizens that we know of in this country that have volunteered for this program to be tested in their private lives." http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/0,2...936-661,00.html

Intrest in the variety of happy people we have on this forum

sorry about the option, i went through nearly 10 options when making the poll, when i specified it more it made it too big and got abit overwhelming to the senses, so opted for the basic broad answers, which made it easier translate. and the primary industries choice is a very broad choice, if you notice the actual choice is Other. i should have put a few more examples next to it, but i think it maybe to late now. the poll was just a way to get a feel of everyones background in education, and to find out whos involved the arts. because im at art school and searching abit of advice n see what type art and ideas the artists on this forum would like to share. And to find out why people chose what they did (if its not to personal or invading your privacy). Id also like to say that i do not have any prejudice against peoples education status, personally i believe most of the best and valuable education is not formal education! anyways thanks heaps for the reply GD it had some awesome points. hopefully this clears thing up a little, if you have any questions dont hesitate. by the way, does anyone else miss 1/6 of WS posts? ahaha edited because i forgot to press the space barfor abit

if only all officers thought with their cocks

2007/5 NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A state trooper accused of letting a drug charge slide in exchange for oral sex from a porn star has been fired, the Tennessee Highway Patrol said Thursday. Moss has not indicated whether he would contest his firing and did not immediately return a message left at his home Thursday evening. The department received an internal complaint about the allegations that were described on the porn star‘s blog. The blog has since been taken down and Cummings, 21, has not returned calls for comment. The woman wrote on her blog that when the officer asked her if she had drugs in the car, she admitted to having some "happy pills." Moss‘ citation does not mention finding any illegal narcotics in the car. "Then he asks me, what does it cost for someone like me to get anything like you," she wrote.

    shrooms and RC's in china?

woah! i never had any bad side effects or nausea, just smooth sailing was bliss and really did distract my mind from the pain i had. maybe your body hates you and doesnt want you to take it?(LOL) but im pretty sure tramaldol is certainly the wrong medication for a migraine

    shrooms and RC's in china?

hey, firstly id like to say tramadol is the fucking SHIT! (when taken at strong dose) and its a synthed opiod, its a prescription drug, the brand name ive encounter in AUSTRALIA are Zydol. Now onto stonewolf's post about China, one of my housemates is chinese and he has told me that people get arrested for buying more then 2 packets of durries. and from what we've talked about drugs they are extremely strict any suspicous of anything, also it seems most chinese are not that worried at all about this and have a strong opposition to drugs and people that take them.
