Growing hemp seed in Aus
Slocombe replied to TheMooseZeus's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
I've spent a bit of time looking into the roadside tests. My understanding is they do a screening saliva test that is extremely unreliable (lots of false negatives and false positives). If that test is positive for THC, they do a second test that is much more reliable. You get charged based on a positive second test. If you passed the initial swab test after taking CBD only you may have just got lucky. NSW in particular is expanding the number of tests so it makes sense to keep up to date on the legislation and testing changes. -
Growing hemp seed in Aus
Slocombe replied to TheMooseZeus's topic in Sustainable Technologies & Ethical Living
It's a shame if you keep any birds. I seem to recall a story about a pensioner getting arrested for growing cannabis - he just wanted the hemp seeds for his budgies (made them sing better apparently). I can't find the news article at the moment but I know that hemp seeds can be found in some bird seed mixes; you can be charged if you germinate those seeds. -

Sounds obvious but don't trip near bodies of water and steep cliffs etc... and be somewhere familiar and calming. If you're doing this with past trauma front-and-centre in your mind I'd recommend a trusted sitter...and if you can't find one maybe not at all

I can't contribute anything of actual value, but that first picture reminded me of the opening sentence of the metamorphosis...

Yep. A pachenoi (or Pachenot?/PC). Pretty sure i put it in the ebay finds thread at the time. I will say that the person working behind the counter was a motherly type in her 50s who winked at me and told me it was an awesome cactus.... i either passed up an easy root or (more likely) people really like cacti.
