I suffer from occaisional bouts of insomnia usually lasting 3-6 weeks where I may get 20 mins sleep for every 24 hours or so. Was prescribed pharmacist grade melatonin (as compared to non-prescription supplements) and it did absollutely nothing for me. I've no idea how prescription melatonin compares to the supplement stuff though, or if they are the same or different. So yeah it did fuck all for me, but that was for insomnia rather than shift work problems, and everyone is different so it might work wonders for someone else. I'd avoid ANY commercial "supplements" because in most cases the only thing your gonna get from them is very expensive urine. Go to the doctor and get a script. It wont be much different in price to commercial crap anyway and least it might work.

I don't know about Aura at all. But Prof Colleen Loo at UNSW been doing research and trials on ketamine treatment of depression with positive results. They were looking for trial volunteers earlier this month I believe. There's also been positive results from UK trials too.(EDIT - UK trials might have actually been MDMA, its early and I'm not sure my memory is right)

Hey Fenris. Sorry to hear that. My sister is an endocrinologist. She's pretty much anti all forms of alternative medicine though, but I can ask her next time i see her and see what she says if you like.

Considering the Buddha himself lived a human life in a normal human bodily state and died a normal human death I would personally say its rubbish. But saying that in the whole scheme of things I really know fuck all about anything. And also I follow Theravada, which is obviously far less colourful than the Mahayana beliefs. -

I put one in a nice bottle of olive oil with about 5 chopped in half garlic cloves. Makes a nice salad dressing.
