Hope it's not too infested for you sabry,, I'd start with spreading some ant powder around first to stop the ants transporting anymore pests around, then get onto killing the bugs as suggested above. I get scale on my plants occasionally and the ants are the culprits farming them. Once the source of introduction is eliminated, then the job of killing the pests is easier :-)

^ Hell yeah,, I have no idea how long it was sitting in the bush for? Apparently it was covered by grass and other crap, I'm stoked my mate knows me well enough to rescue it and pass it on.

Nice set up myco,, did you get my last pm? @ mutant,, any of these ideas above will work, they're all worthy and adaptable to your needs. depends on your budget or if you're lucky sourcing free items.

Above ideas are great, get some of that lost light reflecting back onto the seedlings by installing some white walls such as painted cardboard, white fluting board or plastic wrap. This will also help keep some warmth in there during your colder times. Silver will do but it can create hot spots (more of a problem with high intensity lighting) where white will disperse the light better IME Lift the light a bit more as was said, altho I have had leafy plants grow up, into and around my fluros in the past when I've been lazy lol otherwise good start

here's some of mine that have seen better days,, Altho these days they're getting the attention they deserve ;-) These first 2 were found in the bush dumped by someone,, a friend of mine who does bush regeneration passed them onto me. The new growth is about 8 months old. next was attacked by snails and slaters before the new growth formed. next has been an extremely slow grower, I obtained it years ago while living in Perth. New pups maybe a year old? another victim of snails and neglect. and an example of bad soil, sunburn, snails, slaters,,, All now back on track and slowly healing and growing again :-)

So these maidens and acuminata are 8 weeks old tomorrow :-) Their growth rate with the soil mix compared to mostly propagating sand is very noticeable. I started both trays in different locations, but after 2 weeks moved them together. The soil mix is heeeaps better! Those seedlings are almost, well if not more, twice the size. I'll need to upsize their pots soon ;-) I'd love to try some Koa and/or Phleb if anyone can help? Cheers :-) soil mix propagating sand mix

I tried a cupl grafts about 5 or 6 years ago. None worked, but I can see now why lol for one thing I never left them in a humid environment to heal in the first stage. I tried again the other day, only one onto a Trich. It's still looking ok :-) fingers crossed ;-) after seeing that video,, it has made it even less intimidating for a graft noob like me lol cheers!

Great video watertrade :-) thanks for the link.

I'd say get it mad and let it run amok! Lol any updated pics? -
Holy crappola dude,, I hope you have something to hold onto! That link seems quite onto it. Historical evidence between the booms and quakes over the world. I've felt a cupl quakes here in my time. The earths plates are shifting, and as epic as a quake is, I hope those booms ur hearing are not gonna hurt the peeps and destroy the beautiful area ur in. Are they getting louder and more frequent there? Eek! =-O
-
Huge trees for sure,, tho with other bush around to somewhat cushion the fall, yet possibly burnt also, I'd still think it would be a huge dampened sound rather than a boom. Still at work atm. Will check out that link this arvo :-)

Thinking of your tree idea Myco, would it make a huge thud noise rather than a boom? Are there crazy poachers with dynamite fishing the easy way in ur area? Bunyip beating a drum?
