hi!
i am ph, and created the planthelper strain, which is a cross of vienna white and syd narrow leaved.
it displays hybreed virgor. the plants in the pics look to me, what i call red narrow leaved. the ph doesn't display reddish hues.
i used to trade a lot of seeds as well, many of them produce a variety of plants.
the important question to answere is, "are they selfpollinated" or had two or more different parents?
f2 would mean a ph crossed with an other strain, it looks it was a red!

your pics from there are truly enchanting, if spirits roam this earth, they sure would choose a place like mt. buffalo.
and we should start using the first nations name for the place!

i mean the 3 trunks on the very right close to the frame, 2/3 up, whiteish trunks at the bottom, top parts dark, where the bark was left still on.
it's a myth, that the bottom bark, contains more alkaloids.it just easier to harverest.
stripping top branches, will harm the tree less.

nice pic's, good to see the fire didn't get there this time.
looks the trees in this pic got vandalised, and in a fashion, which could cause the trees death and maybe can shoot out from the bottom again....

and thanks for uploading those images, we realy learn a lot from them, and get inspired!
i think, i know who you are, because you posted similar info a long time ago, and your pics, are a form of art, and i recognize the artist!
i sometimes thought, "our" salvia could have picked up, disease over the many many years, it's been probagated.
a seedling would be free of pathogenes...

all cuttings start off as a seedling at one stage, this picture features quite likely a planthelper, a x between vienna white and narrow leaved!!
-
nice pics, they are quite mature specimens, congrats!
probably a seedling, a x between green and narrow?
definately not a pure red, but could have red genetics in it.
-
congratulations, enjaytee, this is an epic achivement.
this is the first time, for me to see this process well documanted and in hd pics of astounding quality.
for newbies i say, this is one of the rarest seeds in the world!!
members plese respec tejt's privacy, let him come to you if he wants, but don't hassle him (thats what happend to the last person who managed this stunt, and he left the forum, taking secrets with him).
please give us more info if possible, as you might know, i believe this is easier done in the right climat (no hot summers mild winters, right latidude....

the same glitch happend to me, when uploading pics.
my post count shot up, every "black image" counted as a post,
the software thinks i posted a 1000 times or so.
this needs fixing.
i am not happy that the same glitch, made me have a lot of post without posting...
IT RUINED MY POSTS TO WIN A DAY RATIO!

I asked once a lady belonging to the first nation people, sure this mountain must have a dream time story, but she answered, I don't know. than 3 days ago a lady from my local tribe, told me the story, and I asked her permission to at one time record her story.

Hanrahan, probably will be destroyed sooner or later by a stupid planed dam. I understand we need more water storage in oz, but I would build a new method of dam, which will have less impact on nature, and even will eliminate evaporation.
even the barrage at rocky destroyed the Fitzroy already, very sad indeed.

to hot at my place to grow it, i envy you! grew it in europe, from seed collected in peru.
it's very cold hardy, surviving frost, ideal for cold parts of oz.
