Question

Would be interested to know what this creeper vine looking guy is.

I bought this pot at bunnings, labeled as 'Helleborus', and the top droopy palm looking leaves are clearly the Helleborus. The other dark green heart shaped leaves are a separate plant though I'm sure. The Bunning's people had no idea, as usual.

Its pumping out seed pods and I'm trying to catch the next pod that opens. As they are quite prone to popping out and dissapearing in the wind.

The seeds are little orange/red spheres.

Anyway, It looks like it will be a nice little ground cover when it gets a bit bigger and seems to suit the Helle well.

Also looks like a type of violet.

Edit: A plant is only a weed if you don't want it. There are always exceptions though, one being asparagus grass.

Viola odorata, the flower should have a sweet smell

The others are right about its habbit, it can sustain itself in pretty poor soils quite well, so if your in a temparate climate which you are, plant with a bit of caution, ( if you dont mind it of course)
