  1. The way the tree hangs is a lot like floribunda. I have a lot of trouble ID.ing longiflora due to varitation EDIT: I'd be way more inclined to go with Floribunda over longi, Longi tend to hang with much denser flowers
  2. I know an easy test ;)

Should I give up on Caapi seeds?

Nahnahnah, I would just be weary! They offered to send me fresh P Viridis seeds and they have replied to all my queries. They do sell all year round which isn't great for the customer. Thanks for the reply too!
  5. Hi! I'm tomorrow a plan on dyeing a king sized bed sheet to later turn into a hammock. I have large amounts of Syrian rue but am finding it hard to come across how i would get that deep red colour. I hear an extract in alcohol? (I would rather not use alcohol if anyone knows another method) Has anyone tried this or know a method that would work? -Cheers!

    Coleus confusion

Hi, i've experimented a little bit with coleus and I have definitely experienced dream potentiation with whatever i have growing in my garden. Even in small infrequent dosages i have experienced pressure between my eyes which i can imagine would be a nice, grounding thing to focus on during meditation. Its a bit of a funky colour at the moment. Anyone with experience with coleus know whats going on with this plant?

    Syrian Rue Dye

From what it looks like, a bright yellow can be extracted with water and a deep red with alcohol. They both glow under UV light i hear. I'll buy a bag and post my findings

    Curious about acacias

I'm usually not too bad at IDing acacia but these kind of stump me (great pun) Number 1 and 3 would be a bit over hip height, 1m (3ft) maybe. They're only young And 2 is roughly 3m (10ft) The leaves on 3 seem too spread for longifolia and there are many sophorae around here on the beaches and it doesnt resemble any of those No need to apologise, i very much appreciate your time

    Conflicting opinions on ayahuasca

I have been researching a lot into Ayahuasca; set/ setting and intention and how it is taken either in ritual or just alone at home or in nature. From what i have read into it seems very much like the rituals involving a shaman are very agitated and uncomfortable (for lack of a better word) The individual experience seems to be reported as much more centred, being able to meditate or lay still (Without screaming or shaking uncontrollably) A question to anyone who is (Or might know someone) experienced. Is this the case? Another question that has risen is intention. Majority of the people traveling to the amazon to drink with a shaman are looking to better themselves and their lives. I hear of very few people who use the medicine to communicate with the universe and develop insights into its inner workings. If anyone has anything to say about this, i would love to hear it

    Conflicting opinions on ayahuasca

Something similar to this topic is a what Patricio Dominguez (The guy from the Spirit Molecule) talks about in this video great video, well worth the watch. I would love to hear your opinions on it. He speaks about teachers or spiritual guides not in Ayahuasca rituals but in everyday life. Like a spiritual mentor. I find this to be a very interesting topic and could help launch people deeper into their journeys without getting hurt. It may even be useful to have a mentor system on a forum like this.

Horus, what are gorgeous garden! That vine is incredible! I would love to see it some day. What are your views on brews that don't use the vine, rather syrian rue? Its much more available for most people

    Cactus ID (From sh*t photo)

This plant is quite beaten up, there are some in my area which are probably as tall as my house and almost as wide. Its crazy
  23. I always see this cactus on my way home and it's always flowering and looks amazing! I was wondering if someone might know what it is? Sorry for the terrible photo quality :/ Thanks all! Much love
