12 overdose at Melbourne dance party

Agreed. But again, this has much more to do with a drug policy problem rather than an actual problem with said drug. From what I've read (I have no experience with it) and heard it is among the most dangerous psychoactives, but I feel that any drug can be relatively safe if society would actually look at harm reduction and promote safe models for people to build off of, and of course a pure legal product in which overdose victims can seek medical help without fear of persecution. etc.

    Need information on absinthe production

I need to write a paper for an economic botany class on "the process involved in transforming a plant product into a useful commodity." Although there is a huge amount of published information concerning the colorful history, mythology, and culture surrounding absinthe, I can't find much information on the aspects of absinthe production (harvesting, storage conditions, distillation, transportation, machinery use, costs, waste produced, etc). I'm hoping some of you have some good resources in mind. It only has to be 5-10 pages, so I'm sure there's enough information, it's just a matter of finding it. I do have the option of backing out and trying something else, but I only have till the end of the month. Thanks a lot.

oxytocin mediates pro-social effects of MDMA

IME its never been an erection problem, but it's been hard to climax on xtc, but I don' think hard or difficult is the right word, because the words 'hard' and 'difficult' imply that I was trying to acheive orgasm when infact I was already their internally IMO. One of the magical things about sex on x is that foreplay can last for hours. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about. It seems to be more about exploring yourself and someone else (and someone else ) than about trying to get off. This somewhat explains my experiences to me anyways. Since there's already been a release of oxytocin from the xtc, there's no reason to race to the finish line so to speak, and the intimacy of the act becomes the focus and can be drawn out. It's sort of a Be Here Now type of experience. Plus, little things like massages, feathers, hot, cold, and even pain seem to all be pleasurable stimulus. These are experienced as being new and unconditioned. They are examinations rather than reactions.

oxytocin mediates pro-social effects of MDMA

This is the only place that I've been able to find that sells it. http://www.verolabs.com/product.php?UID=20...765.101.171.180 They say that a 2 month supply is 50 USD, but a single spray only lasts 2-4 hours so I dont know how many sprays a day they include in there calculations. A few months ago I wouldn't hesitate to order, but I'm a poor jobless college student again and $50 is a lot of money now. I'd be much happier if I could find a plant that boost the levels of oxytocin or of its precursers. Perhaps that would offset the anti-social type negatives that occur during the days after an xtc dose. This discovery makes me a bit uncomfortable as well though. If it works as well as claimed, it could be used as a sort of Orwellian type control just like what was attempted by the US Gov. with LSD, or as one article suggested, it could be used in shopping malls to get people to buy more junk.

oxytocin mediates pro-social effects of MDMA

Apparently blue cohosh has oxytocin. I've also I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion on boards about oxytocin. It seems like it has a lot of potential, and yet I've not come across a single experience report. I'm thinking about ordering some of the nasal spray. Surely, someone else has tried it and can report. I know I'm not the only one with social anxiety. What about precursers? Apparently viagra increases the amount of oxytocin. http://www.news-medical.net/?id=29102 But since oxytocin is released into the bloodstream upon have an orgasm, then it would seem that this has more to do with viagra takers simply having more sex.

    The Salvia Battle in America

AFOAF one time had his residence searched by peace officers(ha!!). Remarkably, they didn't even bother to look at any of this persons plants. Cops aren't botanists and with the exception of cannabis, your average cop probably wouldn't be able to identify plants growing right before his/her eyes.

    The Salvia Battle in America

I believe in the movement (the acceptance of sacred plants and their users), I just don't think we're ready to run out there and say, "Here I am." I know I'm not. If such a person was reading this then they must be on a computer in lockup. How many do we have here?

    The Salvia Battle in America

I think that part of the problem with "coming out" is that it requires many people to be willing to take the plung to save everyone from the law. If one hundred people in a community came out and challenged the drug laws it probably wouldn't cause too much of a shock to straight society. Those hundred people would just be funnelled around to various prisons and the laws would continue to terrorize those of us who picked the wrong drug(s)(illegal). It would take a huge amount of people who all believe that change is possible and are willing to go to prison for that too happen. No great movements happen if the people don't believe in them. Users have been persecuted for so long that it hard to imagine a world where they can chose which plants/substances they want to for relationships with. That is why we(I) hide. I'm not willing throw myself in jail because I don't believe that there's a single person-let alone the thousands(or millions?) it would take prob. take-who will back me up. It would be purely a symbolic achievement on my part, because nothing would come of it. The drug community is still too afraid, too small, and too devided at this point. The vaste majority of the people who I've shown this part of me are people that I've never met in person. I hope for the future but remain realistic, and try to change things through the usual legal methods; letter writing, voting, educating, etc. All things are possible, but some paths are suicide. If anyone agrees or disagrees, I'd be happy to hear why. On a happier note, I'm glade to hear that Sally D still lives in Oz. I doubt that their are very many cops in the US who can confidently distinguish SD from any other plant. If a person is careful they probably wont be confronted with any problems.

    The Salvia Battle in America

what worries me about a potential salvia ban is that it will be very harder to trade stock than it is with cannabis. I don't think that the leaf could ever be controlled but since salvia doesn't produce seed and requires a warm climate-i dont think there's many places in the US where Salvia can be grown outdoors- it will be much harder for the get or trade new plants. If a ban did happen I already have my sally plants, but I'd be nice to know that if something happened that I could get new ones. I know many of you are in countries that have outright banned this sacred plant. I was wondering if anyone can share their oppinions on what the results of these prohibitions have been on the availability of salvia (plants/leaf/extract/other) in those countries. Is there still an underground market?

Ololiuhqui bloomed in temperate country !

Congrats mauve!! This thread has gotten me excited about Rivea. I know what i'll be ordering for my next plant order. My wife will be so pleased with me getting more plants. Hey Frank Blank. Can I ask you what the purpose of the wire nettings that are covering your pots in you picture? Is it too keep out the cats/animals or is there another purpose?
  15. The video specifically targets the Rockefeller drug laws in New York, and calls on politician's to make reforms. I've never heard of the guy but that'd be great if his video got some major TV play. http://www.drugpolicy.org/statebystate/newyork/lockdownusa/
