Acacia Maidenii

MeanGreen

This guy grows pretty fast, I'm gonna have to prune it.

Any tips for rooting acacia cuttings?

I thought they had to be seed raised, wasn't aware taking cuttings worked?

most acacia's will take from soft wood cuttings.

wow, had no idea... i've got some serious learning to do it seems...

I have found with most fast growing self seeding plants/trees, growing seed is a much better option. But with the rarer types I do like doing soft wood cuttings to back up my stock.

How old are these plant(s)?

Looks magnificent

I don't know exactly how old it is, I snatched it up on ebay for 12€ recently.

I would guess it's at least 3 years old judging from the size of the trunk which was cut:
