Morning Glory seed pod formation

hiya. Yeah there's some Ipomea Tricolour (i think...heavenly blue) near my house and every now and then lately i've been checking to see if there are seed pods forming (it's flowering).

I've noticed that....there never are any. Does anyone know when they will appear? I was under the impression that it was after the flowers fell off, but is it after it finishes flowering or what?

Are you sure they're tricolour? If they're wild and weedy you're probably looking at I. indica which doesn't set seed in Australia.

Incidentally, spoke to someone the other day who said that some time ago they attempted to get high from indica. They mixed up and reduced 2 shopping bags of plant material down in water and said it worked to an extent. I was skeptical so didn't press for details of methods etc. but maybe indica is very slightly active. Doesn't sound like a very tasty bevvy though.
