bok Posted February 24, 2005 Are presure cookers those pot things that have a lid with a bakelite handle that joins back to the pot handle (how articulate). If they are the lifeline down the road from my house has heaps, well 4 or 5.

Benzito Posted February 26, 2005 I wanna look around locally for a PC, but I'm not exactly sure where to start. What sort of business is Victoria's Basement? I don't think there'll be one way out west where I am, but I'll just look at similar places. What kind of stores sell PC's? Grace Bros? Can anyone save my fingers from having to do a bit of walking? gerbil Posted February 27, 2005 If you're fixed on getting one in person, i don't know any shops. Online/over the phone is just as easy. Let them know what you are after/price range/use etc. I brought mine from chantal at the pressure cooker centre in W.A. which was recommended to me by some people at this site. Their range is expanding, i think they are even planning on setting up stores over in Eastern aus in the future. It's about $10-20 postage, courier from memory. http://www.pressurecooker.com.au/
smogs Posted February 28, 2005 kitchen shops the best type are ones that deal with home kitchen stuff (ive never seen them at a outlet style kitchen place) something thats alrge and has a good range of pots and pans should grace bros do i think (or myer now)? i HAVE seen some in kmart but they were pretty pricey and a bit on the small side theres a dude at paddies market that sells them pretty cheap too
