apothecary Posted October 4, 2005 2 tsp. SAB Damiana 1 tsp strong black tea leaves (loose) Boil water (for 2) steep herbs for 5-10 minutes. For relaxing tonic, a slice of apple, 1 tsp honey (or to taste) and a pinch of cinnammon. Stir and serve hot! For hot days, a slice of peach, and honey, squeeze of strong lemon per mug let chill for a few hours before serving. For nice sedative effect, try 2-3 tsp. damiana per person with your afternoon joint ;) I think damiana would fucking rock as the flavour for a lamb roast. I plan on trying it at some point this week. Trip Dr Posted October 4, 2005 Sounds good apo,i never tried damiana tea but find smoking produces little effect. Has a wonderful taste and smell though and makes a great spin i reckon. Will have to try out the tea, maybe in combo with some calea as a nightcap.
apothecary Posted October 4, 2005 I didn't expect much from this plant until I recently began experimenting with the large pile of it I have again. You still shouldn't expect too much, but it tastes quite nice, and it can't hurt (as long as you don't overdo it!) so that's where I'm aiming. After trying the roast, I'm gonna try some damiana and flor de los muertos grog
Happy Cadaver Posted October 4, 2005 I like the Damiana roast idea, i think they'll complement each other very well.
