planthelper Posted August 30, 2004 what a beautyfull caespitosa the clump forming peyote specimen. sorry can't help you much but, increase the airflow and reduce humidety! [ 30. August 2004, 08:14: Message edited by: planthelper ]
Jack Posted August 30, 2004 I cant really increase the airflow and reduce humidity as they are already out in the open. I would have thought the humidity in melb would be ok. They may have got a bit wet over winter but this is nothing different to years gone by. Would this be a fungal problem? Thanks
Vanda Posted August 30, 2004 I'm in Melbourne. I keep mine outside through winter, but make sure they remain dry more or less. But I've lost my share of Peyotes in the past. Yea, to me it looks fungal and I wouldn't take any chances with it. The clump is just too nice...take it inside if you can(windowseal shoud be ideal) for a while till it's warmer. do not water it at all till end of October. Also, an application of fungicide wouldn't hurt... Good luck! Cheers Vanda
Jack Posted August 30, 2004 What fungicide should I use? Will keep them dry and move them inside until the weather improves they are too big for a window sill lol (basketball size) Thanks. [ 30. August 2004, 14:59: Message edited by: Jack ]
