any beginers guides to taking cuttings?

whens the best time to take cuttings? anyone got any links to info on how to do it? pics of where exactly to take the pups off? anny general advice or tips?

This site is great and also has the best info I have found on Grafting.

I would take cuttings after the growing season and i would store cuttings in a dry dark place during the time a cactus is supposed to be dormant... then when spring comes you should find the roots already starting to form and when planted will really take off..

(from what i have heard) hehe

about grafting, if you are not an expert, i think you also have to ask a cactus knower about the compatibility of the two piece you want to maried.
