Amulte Posted March 3, 2005 Greetings all, I may be proving my ignorance here but I heard a gnome wondering if there were any legislation, restrictions or control against Eschscholzia Californica or Nymphaea nouchali in NSW? I'm not sure what it is researching but is there an ideal url to find out? Google seams unclear.
apothecary Posted March 3, 2005 Check the SAB store. If it's on there, it's legal to grow, at least.

Torsten Posted March 4, 2005 both are 100% legal at this point. They may need quarantine treatment on the way into the country, but that is a mere formality and is related to the fact that they are contaminated with soil and possibly seeds. There is a possibility of Nymphaea being illegal, but I am sure it will take customs a few years to work out exactly why --- and I am certainly not going to tell them (and hence won't provide any details to anyone, so don't ask).
