DualWieldRake Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) What do you grow that makes you go oooooh This Ipomoea alba flower made me do that, a few times that night even I just had 2 on this plant i saved from winter, and really looking forward to how it must be when a whole bunch of these open In the backyard i have a Osmanthus burkwoodii starting to show flower buds, i've read this hybrid is not as fragrant as for example O. fragrans but i will have to wait, maybe months, before i can put this to the test myself since the fragrans is coming from seed and i just put them in soil last week Together with Brunfelsia australis Cananga odorata (ylang ylang) Datura wrightii Plumeria rubra Acacia suavolens Tabernaemontana divaricata Magnolia grandiflora Lilium leucanthum Cochliasanthus caracalla Chimonantus praecox and some Erysisimums And there are some more on my wishlist already too Like the succulent supposedly like honey smelling Conophytum burgeri I heard some folks never even smelled the flowers their plants are putting up, if you are one of those people...go to your plant, stick your nose in the flower (be carefull of bees) now close your eyes and take a good whiff and report back to this thread! Berengar Posted March 2, 2017 I heard some folks never even smelled the flowers their plants are putting up, if you are one of those people...go to your plant, stick your nose in the flower (be carefull of bees) now close your eyes and take a good whiff and report back to this thread! Almost all of the flowering plants I grow are Stapeliads, and this would not be a wise move at all! :D
