Sallubrious Posted November 21, 2016 There's a bit of banter about a 7.3 quake (now downgraded to 6.9) off the coast of Japan and a 3 metre wave making its way towards the coast. They get quakes around 6.5 - 6.9 quite regularly in that region so it could all be hysteria or it could indeed generate a wave of considerable size We should see if it's going to fizzle out or if it will be big enough to breach the sea walls in the next few minutes.
