Sallubrious Posted February 24, 2016 (edited) The mirror stood relentless reflecting truth and honesty a scorecard of my soul Do I see a true depiction do I see lie The reciprocated image must be a trick of light I think this mirror's getting old for I know it cannot be the old man staring back through it surely can't be me I've worn the darn thing out I've looked at it too much I'll have to get a new one before this worn out one defies me with its brutal honest lies Before it gets too late I'll change my evil ways and hope that my new mirror reflects my glory days But deep down I know, that I can't hide from the wavelengths bouncing back So I think I'll keep the old one And get my life on track.
