I think the one growing in most gardens is Canna indica/Canna lily, which is also edible, but the one I'm after is Canna edulis, which have bigger tubers and are bred for eating more than ornamental purposes AFAIK Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
paradox Posted November 2, 2015 yeah, plenty of canna edulis in gardens & disturbed bushland round this way.. but not sure if they're nice large tuber cultivars.. i did harvest some wild tubers a few years ago, they were a decent size & not bad eating. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
